PROFESSION: she works for Samson, after leaving her former employer/surrogate father Besso and cushy lifestyle as princess of the fishy Ascellus mafia on Earth.
EXPERTISE: none. she's a useless layabout daddy's girl with no direction, and has to be put to work. she does make being hard to stand seem like an art, though.
ABILITY: even though she's a fish, she doesn't need water anymore thanks to joining Samson (that was a big motivation, being stuck seaside most of your life is SO LAME!) also, she can extrude her tentacles, which become proportionate to her human size, to pierce and strangle things. they come "out of nowhere" from behind her. she also has a hyponome-inspired water blast attack which comes from her belly in a most unpleasant manner. she doesn't use it often.
ENEMIES: she's after Ka & co, but only because she's told. otherwise, she's snooty and mostly just hates everyone hence joining Samson.
FRIENDS: she's compulsively paired with Thirtyfive by Samson, and eventually shows some dubious trust in him which hints at remorse for her actions. she's lumped in with the other fish (namely the other cephalos) but Hachiko is her company of choice, on and off the clock. she was immensely enamored with Pike in the past.

Elaize has been around a while, since she appeared in my very first DD. with hardly any changes in her development, she still doesn't need any four years later. she filled her niche properly the first time. her appendix entry is short because most of it is SPOOOIILERS and those are for CARS.

PROFESSION: she works for Samson now, but her history is a little fuzzy. an excellent device while i think of one that don't suck.
EXPERTISE: Hachi is a tank-type character. she is energetic and bloodthirsty. it makes for a morale-boosting start to any small deployment of Samson goons, but she's best kept muzzled until the time is right. she spends her downtime preying on unwitting men and ladies at seedy bars. literally preying on them.
ABILITY: like El, she doesn't need water nearby at all times thanks to her Samson alignment. and she can avail of her beastly abilities like killer tentacles and water blasts. she also has a blindness attack, wherein there is no fluid ink used but she uses her energy to create darkness. she has a violent penchant for devouring opponents. while she can't become invisible, she can camouflage herself with a combination of stealth, contortion, and pigmentation. it's the only stealthy thing she does.
ENEMIES: whoever is in front of her.
FRIENDS: Elaize and the other Cephalos.

i don't have much on Hachiko except that she's a perverted lush and never seems to be in a bad, unsexy mood. she has this "maybe she's not joking" mock-lust for Terry, and goes over the top to come onto him when the groups clash. when Ka sees red she just promises she'll be next. ...she adds an uncomfortably personal aire to the battles. i'm playing with idea of her and El, but i feel like i'm just copping a contact gay from all the yaoi around me. it was originally the idea though when i created her in 2007, so we'll see.
