not a very creative title :/
i found him on the driveway. he'd just arrived; he wasn't lying there when i took my dog out and we were only gone ten minutes or so when we got home again. so much detail and work goes into every creature...it's written into their genes but... ...who the fuck put it there? god? nah. something else no one has even thought of yet.

life is no pointless accident.
death, on the other hand...

But of course the ultimate question is, why are we here?

:iconsparkpenguin:
nah. too pointless a question. too easily answered, though no one likes the blunt and unimaginative answer because there's no god or angels or ice cream castles in the sky.

oh btw the goal of life is perfection, in case you were wondering.
that justifies evolution and the entire concept of mathematical order.

disclaimer: this is mostly a product of a wandering sleep deprived mind

god is sort of an all-inclusive term i think... if something exists that has that kind of power, people are going to call him/her/it god no matter what it really is.

either way, interesting picture and thoughts you have here.

but wait, there's more! *TreesClub
:iconjreaver:
pointless? so you are calling yourself pointless? From the question comes another question, How did we get here?

calling myself ppointless; i called the why and how and where et cetera questions pointless. we aren't supposed to know why, we just strive to be better. animals did it for millions of years without a clue; always changing, always growing. that's how we got here, humans. the rest is an irrelevant mystery we shouldn't be losing sleep over.

i agree with that thought; all inclusive and very loosely defined.

personally i think we're all a part of someone's imagination. they're too busy in their life to worry about us... rational if this personified "god" we always speak of truly is a person.

Its a beautiful picture.

Evolution has been dropped by the scientific community. Laypeople keep talking about it because schools keep teaching it. Schools keep teaching it because they have no new theories to replace it with.
:iconsparkpenguin:
evolution was always as ridiculous a concept to me as creation. it just never seemed plausible that things spontaneously and inevitably just "changed" for no apparent reason (even the inherent mutation detail seemed like a load). at any rate i was just using a theory to rationalize a thought process. i really don't have any beliefs on how or why anything is because nobody has a fuckin clue and at this juncture it's useless to speculate.

that it's been totally dropped, well. that was news to me o_o i can't wait to see what they cook up next.
