(I feel I should make a comment about Snapesnogger . . .)

Personally I prefered the dark version. The brighter look this picture has reminds me more of one of those small lizards rather than a croc.

Very intriguing concept and execution. The color coordination and composition are exquisite. Unusual perspective adds interest and leaves the viewer to evocation.

this one looks more "expected" to me. i like it, because i feel like i "hit the nail on the head" with this hot bronze lime-green tropical stud who is easily imagined lazily swimming the amazon/nile somewhere else that exists and has been repeatedly exploited for its entertainment value. i "did it right," but i felt like it's done too much. but i did post it because it still looked cool. :P

it's the green-- i kept the colors very bright in addition to making it lighter to distinguish the two species. the greyish green looked more natural but just wasn't fun to me.

and thanks-- i liked the dark one better too. it's way more original. this one looks cool but looks to... tritely... "hi i live in the Nile."
