the work i owed ~waltflanagan.

as luck would have it, ~jamierocket and i had the pleasure of seeing our old pal on my birthday earlier this week. we sat at Steak n' Shake and caught up and drew doodles. Zac himself contributed to the placemat sketch that bore this finished work. even though he helped me understand mister Starr's face a little better and helped create the original, i hope he is surprised by and enjoys the final product.

the character, titled, is a Judas Iscariot incarnation from his original creation Social Syphilis. like me, he has a project account located on DA. ~Social-Syphilis.

this kid's been a great friend through high school and beyond and he's probably my #1 LOA fan. so go show Zac some love.

I love it! ^^ If mine's shading is gonna turn out like that take all the time you fucking need mate. This is great. The skin looks so fleshy and the horns are... fantastic. I love it. It looks very organic. I dunno how you do that with vector but you rock hardcore.

Holy Shitballs Major. I even sat and watched you doodle it and I'm still completely amazed. He looks so bored in this picture, like after he outlives everything he finds interesting or entertaining, all he can do is walk and be bored.

so sad.

you're welcome zac. i wanted a complacent kind of expression. since he does look a little like Thirtyfive i didn't want to recycle poses or expressions so close together... and Thirtyfive would never wear this look on his face. :P

he's just not badass enough.
