Kris is my first DA friend ever, back in 2003. i can say that with confidence because the two or three people i met before him only talked to me like twice. he's an amazing dark and comic artist and has been a valuable presence in my life, someone i actually look up to because they're tougher and bitter...er... and more experienced than me in almost everything. so in essence, most of you guys i know now, Kris is to me what i probably am to you.  well i hope.he goes on months-long DA hiatus from time to time.  so we've even talked on the phone a few times. i've only done that with like, two other people i've ever known online, and they were AOL RP buddies lol. e_e someday... SOMEDAY we're gonna hang out and tear shit up with quarts and Krylon and mayhem or some shit. i dunno. money's tight.he wanted a picture of his DASW OC/persona, Darth Horus, as a request, and i said that'd be lovely but only if i can be in it too and we're all happy and kawaii and shit instead of pissed with life. for some reason he's in character and i'm not. >.> oh well. of course the violence was necessary, i don't think it clashes with the cuteness at all.  wow... second consecutive drawing of someone holding a severed head... odd.i hope you like it Kris. i kind of jibberish'd on some of the mechanical aspects of the DH getup and omitted the cloak altogether... i used the EX drawing as a ref and it looked cooomplicated. but i tried to color and shade it really cool. here's his original rendition of his character:[link] OOH OOH AND LOOKIT MIIIINE: [link] Darth Horus and DA Star Wars © Kris @  Follow the Sun Down © 2005 Dark New Day |
